Bobby's All in the Family USA Tour 2013-2014

Bobby made it to the United States for a whirlwind tour of Oregon, California and Virgina.  The main objective of this trip was to introduce Bobby to everyone, sort of like the Stanley Cup tour where everybody gets their shining moment with the trophy; in this case Bobby is the Cup and all our family members are NHL champion hockey players.

Bobby loved every minute of it. 

Made it to Month 3!

On the eve of three months- something magical happened. And I am afraid to write about it because it's been happening all week long.  So here's hoping that I don't curse us by saying that....Bobby now only wakes up twice a night to eat!!!   What's even better is that he wakes up "for good" about 5:30 a.m., and we leave him to play in his crib where he makes hilarious babbling noises as he plays for about an hour by himself.  But here's to more sleep for mom and dad!

This month's photos show some important new developments- Bobby found his thumb! Sort of...

He is also HUGE- he can only wear 3-6 month clothing-- check out his legs hanging over that seat!

His mom and dad have gone out without him:

And his mom was able to pop up to school to defeat Branch's Varsity Girls Basketball Team!

We're off to the US on Friday where Bobby will get his passport stamped for the FIRST time!

From one month to two! (Has it really only been 8 weeks?)

In the first month, we had a lot of pics of dad--but only a few with mom- here's one right after delivery!

Sometimes even moms make mistakes- here we are trying to bring Bobby home from the hospital-- all the clothes I packed were too big--and I couldn't get the carseat hooked correctly, which made him scream.  Overall, it was an epic fail:

Bobby makes some really funny faces, and there is one that his mom's favorite...though I haven't been able to capture it exactly--but he wrinkles his brow--and this might be what it looks like one second before he does it (I imagine a lot of new parents have a lot of photos that capture one second before or after what they are actually trying to get!):
