What can I say about our Easter holiday trip to Istanbul? Well, Kate didn't have the best time holed up in the hotel room with a high fever; 2 of her 3 days were relegated to the bed and taking lots of medicine. A final night in a great pizzeria, and a cool carpet or two, was all she has to show from her time there. Spending my time between caring for Kate (despite her refusal to believe that I was effective in my role, I took very good care of her), and going out to see some of the sights, I was able to capture some of the details of Istanbul, details I had overlooked in my first visit to this great city. So, there will be very few shots of the great Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, or the other treasures of Istanbul; you will find, however, numerous shots of the tulip festival blooming all throughout the city, the Chevy car show in the new city, and more.
